Mendel Collective is a group of artists from various fields of expression such as theatre, visual arts and music, that have come together to produce participatory performing art.
Mendel Collective performances are mixtures between the visual imagery and the mechanisms of its transposition into suggestive corporeality; between contemplative visual art or film and dance theater, etc., and it is played outside of classical theatrical spaces.
The collective uses unconventional play spaces, creating immersive spectacular experiences. The latest productions explore body expressions and VR sets as a completely new exercise in acting expression.
The space and the context of the projects are the main inspiration in their creative process. The scenarios, created through devising methods, always involve the participation of the audience, in an already specific poetics.
